Submitting packages

After reading Tim Niemueller’s blog entry I contacted him proposing to maintain the packages he prepared, so now I am beginning to submit them for maintenance.

I need sponsorship, so if somebody reading this blog entry is willing to step up, bugzilla’s bug 518647 and bug 518636 are asking for support.

A question to fedora guys: why the fedorapeople.org email alias is not working with my mail address?

    Because that’s a @fedoraproject.org alias ? :)

So you didn’t create the RPMs yourself ?

The point of the first reviews and sponsorship is to show that you are capable of creating RPMs. How can this be verified if you simply submit somebody else’s work ?

(or maybe I didn’t understand what you meant)

Ok I mistyped it, but anything sent to fedoraproject.org alias is not received in my inbox

For the second point, review and maintenance is a large part of the packaging maintenance work, and that was what tim was asking for.

About the email alias, you should go to #fedora-admin on Freenode and ask the Infra team if there’s a problem with your email alias.

They are the ones who can fix this kind of issues ;)
